          DescriptionA black metal box with a display and controls on the front. The front of the box has a window, curved along the top, angled in at the sides and straight along the bottom, through which the instrument scale is displayed. The scale is arc-shaped, with increments marked 0-15 along the top of the scale. The display has a needle shaped pointer. Below the scale is a reflective strip.

          Below the display is a cylindrical protrusion, centered on the front face of the instrument, with two plastic control knobs, labeled "ZERO" and "CLAMP." The "CLAMP" knob has a simple arrow inscribed on it. Centered above the two knobs is an emblem, a shield-shape with the letter "R" inside.

          Two cylindrical knobs of unequal size protrude from the bottom of the instrument, both with edges knurled in different patterns.
