          DescriptionFrom instrument card: "Two coils (of 17 turns each - if single layer) on bakelite spools (3 1/8" dia) mounted on either side of heavy bakelite support. This again is mounted on a rectangular base (of bakelite) with two binding posts and rotating switch to connect the coils (presumably) in series "MAX" or parallel "MIN".
