Material
DescriptionA wooden spool of copper wire. The top and bottom of the spool are rectangular wooden planks. They are connected by a hollow ovular shaft; both the top and bottom feature a corresponding hole. The shaft also features an additional wooden ovular piece that protrudes out from the shaft, around which the wires are wrapped. The wooden ovular piece and the two curved indentations in the inside of the two planks may have fitted onto a base which would have allowed the inductor to rotate. The wire wrapped around the shaft is white and has been covered in brown paper. There is brown paper between each layer of windings.
