DescriptionThis is a Beck Star compound microscope. It has a triangular shaped base with an extending curved triangular post. The post is hinged to an adjustable arm which supports the brass body tube. The coarse adjustment is back rack and pinion. Fine focus is by a screw located on the top of the arm.
There is a simple square stage with stage clips. A double sided mirror on a moveable arm is located beneath.
