Description(a) This object is made up of many different components, most of which are mounted on a large rectangular black slab. On one side, mounted with screws and wingnuts onto a smaller, thicker black slab, is a cylindrical AC motor. Its label reads "BODINE ELECTRIC COMPANY". Out of this motor stems a braid of black wires which wind around to a shiny metal box. Spouting from the opposite end of the box is a light bulb. Next to the side of the box closest to the middle of the slab is an upright shiny metal cylinder. The long wire continues out from the side it entered; it terminates in what looks to be an exposed two-prong plug.
On the other side of the black slab is a long rectangle, through the middle of which runs a rod. Over and under the rod are two large clear thick donut-shaped discs wrapped around which are countless tight coils of metal wire. Each of these discs feature connection nodes. One such node on the bottom disc is hooked up to a wire which is unconnected to anything else on the other end.
There are also four miscellaneous small coils of thin wire (b): one is orange, one is yellow, one is black and one green.
