DescriptionThis is a Bausch & Lomb simple dissecting microscope. It has a U-shaped, iron base with a black shiny finish. The pillar is brass. The focus is by rack and pinion. The movable rack is nickel plated. The articulated arm at the top of the rack has ring mounts to hold the Coddington magnifiers. Two (19 mm and 7X) are included.
The stage is brass with a smooth black finish. It has a large rectangular glass top and nickel stage clips. The substage mirror is fork-mounted on a swing-out arm. It is plano-concave.
The microscope has two wooden arm rests with black metal supports.
The case has a brass handle and a lock and key.
