Inside is the instrument, with a bakelite casing. Fan-shaped window at top of the panel, with the Rawson standard pointer (with a double, o-shaped section over the mirror) with a reflective band under the scale.
Single linear scale, 0 at center down to 50 on each side.
Under the scale at lower left is black capped binding post. Raised disk-shaped section with "CLAMP" dial, curved arrow above “CLAMP “ dial and labeled underneath “UNCLAMP BEFORE USING.
