FunctionA multimeter (or multitester or volt/ohm meter or VOM) measures multiple characteristics often including but not limited to voltage, current and resistance.
            --
Alternating current meter capable of measuring not only the high values but also the lowest in milliamps and millivolts independent of frequency errors at least up to 2,000 cycles per second and one which could be easily checked against available D.C. Standards has been met….
The Thermal Multimeter has 13 ranges covering from 2 milliamps to 1 ampere and from 60 millivolts to 1,000 volts.
