        DescriptionHorizontal dial and compass on a marble slab . A brass support for the string gnomon and plummet fold against the base for storage. The gnomon is designed for a latitude of approximately 45°. The chapter ring is marked 5 to 12-1 to 7 with 30 minute subdivisions. The compass rose has four marks for points with no subdivisions..,irregular hexagon
