DescriptionThis is a Steward large monocular compound microscope. The all brass instrument has a straight monocular body tube with a fine adjustment screw. Rack and pinion is provided for the coarse focus. The instrument is supported by a flat tripod base with two flat pillars, which hold the mechanical square stage. A mirror on a fixed tube sits beneath the stage.
