DescriptionNickel plated tube sliding in brass sleeve for coarse focus. Spring loaded, nickel plated stage top with screw on top for fine focus. No x-y motion, no condensor. Diaphragm wheel and concave substage mirror. Like No. 1131, but with smaller stage.

This outfit had been presented to the Boston Society of Natural History (to Mr. Sanford) by an unrecorded donor. It was being used for the instruction of children when Dr. Cheever obtained it by exchange for a more modern microscope."
